"weekend? what's a weekend?"

Ah, one of the funniest lines from my favorite British TV Show, Downton Abbey. It's really good, watch it!  The acting and costumes are amazing. I can't wait for the new season to come out....

I'm sorry for the brief break from blogging. I had so much schoolwork, not to mention I just got a bad cold yesterday. Luckily, we have a four-day weekend (yes, moon festival!) and I'm ready to begin posting again. {This is a very random post because I need to catch up on a lot.}

1. A new haircut. Yes, I got bangs (or a fringe, whatever you want to call it)! Apparently I look like Lea Michele, Angelina Jolie and Zooey Deschanel, but I do not see the resemblance at all.

2. Nailpolish. I've sorta been obsessed with painting my nails lately...blame tumblr! I've had mint green, red and pale pink/orange nails in the past week. Every time it gets slightly ruined I have to take it off.

3. birthdays. All of my friend's birthday's are crammed into the space of these three or four months. And today was my uncle's birthday.... 

4. I've broken my lens again.  I seriously want to cry. 

On that note, I am going to settle down with a bowl of Matzo Ball soup, a large box of tissues, and watch another British historical drama TV series. Jolly good!
